I like thinking about an original idea before drawing on paper.
The best ideas and creations come before sleep with the light off.
Mornings begins with a cup of coffee and drawing my night thoughts and am always happy with the results.
Other times, I just like to experiment new styles and techniques for projects that fascinated me for some reason.
It was the case of "The Crucible". I reread the play and its oppressive atmosphere washed over me. I needed to reflect it in some way and so gave vent to my feelings and hand painting style surfaced.
The days that bring memories of my childhood, I draw very tender scenes, full of lovely colors and come close to vintage or retro styles.
I love the texture and seldom can do without it. And the part of the process, with which I most enjoy, after mental processing the original idea, is, without doubt: the sketch.
Rarely drawing with illustrator.
Especially drawing on paper and then coloring with photoshop or directly drawing with photoshop
